TWO DAYS LATER
Well, here it is 2 days after the election that has changed my life and not only our country, but the world. I am still weeping, but these are not tears of sadness. These are tears of great joy, pride, and relief. I doubted the system, I was ashamed to be an American, and I blindly trudged forward with just a glimmer of hope in my soul. That glimmer was shared by many Americans who also felt that they had something to say and contribute, but felt it was of no use. For these Americans the system gave opportunity, but only to a select few.... or so we thought. That glimmer that said our voices mattered, brought us together, and we became one. With that stregth and determination that glimmer has become a beacon of light and hope. I sit here today in front of this computer screen a changed woman, for I will scream at the top of my lungs, I MATTER, AND I AM AN AMERICAN,.......YES WE CAN!REACTIONSAscending | Descending
