I was flabbergasted to hear that Alistair Darling was getting a bit tetchy about the bailed out banks not passing the benefits on to the public and small businesses. Everyone knew this would happen but it seems he has some faith in the associated CEO's humanity to say thank you very much for this handout and give the money away! What a dickhead, there is no humanity in Business, especially in the world banking system.

Sir Anthony 'Wedgie' Benn was laughed out of Parliament when he came up with the idea that Banks should be nationlised, people have short memories.

Depression is a severe economic downturn that lasts several years, it really has only just started and I predict this downturn will evolve into a depression that will make the Hoover, Roosevelt years look like boom times.

What will help gigantically is the fact that GM have given back two of their seven leased corporate jets, but a spokesman said today that they don't know how they will get their CEO to Washington next time. Well perhaps in a fucking car? Probably the only one they'll sell in the next quarter. It's comedy, pure comedy in its blackest form.
