WIGGED OUT

There is a classic old store on 14th street in Manhattan right next to Deb Parkers's Beauty Bar. I swear their window has not changed in over a decade if not two decades. Dig the guy with the moustache and beard. Now there's an item I will be saving up my loose change for. Yes, a wig like that should be purchased with loose change and loose change only. Trust me...loose change only!

We have a similar store here in Tucson. I'll try to grab a shot of it. I think our store is called wigorama.

I must confess that I have purchased the male hairpiece and beard. What can I say....it spoke to me and now it completes me. Oh sweet anonymity and for only $22. This should throw off the IRS for a little while.

Does the wig include the mutton chops, or was that a third purchase?

I remember this place - glad it's still there and not a Starbucks or Jamba Juice. 14th Street used to be full of wacky places like this.
