POETIC EXTRAVAGANZA
A group of poets from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and even the Faroe Islands (and one guy from the Netherlands) got together for a party (incl. readings and perhaps the biggest cacophonic Nordic performance ever ... in a gothic basement) at Biskops-Arnö near Uppsala in the Swedish countryside. After having attended three serious days at the seminar of Alternatice Publishing / Litterary Innovation some of the participants found it rather difficult to make it through the night.

In the flashplayer at martinjm.blogspot.com you can find the fantastic reading he did at Biskops Arnö. I'll send it to The Brink as well!

Readings? Do you each write in your native language? I know they are similar, but poetry is so subtle. . .

We do. Paal Bjelke Andersen and I did a bilingual reading in Norwegian & Danish. You can find that in the player on my blog as well. And I highly recommend the reading (in some sort of Finnish) by Leevi Lehto!
Most of us understand Danish, Swedish and Norwegian. Finish and Icelandic is more foreign.
There were also a few readings in Gallic and English at the seminar. :-)
