PEN PATTERNS

I have a friend who always borrows a pen and never returns it. I don't mind. I am good and generous that way. I was reminded of that friend as I passed this storefront in the 4th District of Vienna.

This storefront which had been empty for months was now filled from cieling to floor and corner to corner with bic pens of the most basic kind. The clear transparent kind.

The installation is called "Permanente" and is the creation of Herbert Hinteregger who could not give me his autograph as neither of us had pens on hand.

Ditto, would you mind if I downloaded a few and mucked about with them? Cheeky? Good to see you around.
