I made the hats out of clear plastic flower pots and super glue. After drying, I gave them 10 coats of red spray paint.

I, however, had the extreme displeasure of attending the lamest costume party ever over the weekend. I hope to post some photos later.... but I don't think they can even properly exhibit the lameness at this party. I stayed an hour, snapped some pics, and got the heck out!
I hope your party was a much more interesting endeavor than mine was.
