Soon as I walked into Skipper's and saw the standup bass, I knew I was in for something good. And it was. Rockin' rhythm, blues and a little country twang - she doesn't really fit into the folk genre, but that's where some folks place her. I can't remember the exact wording, but it said something on the poster at Skipper's (those damn hippies again) about her being "retro", like it's a BAD thing. If she's retro, fire up the time machine - I wanna go back.
