wildflower season has officially hit borrego springs proper. lupines, dune primroses, tackstems, buckwheats, spectacle pods, sand verbenas, desert dandelions...aaarrgh!!!
and with them come hordes of looky-loos from the coast. a deluge of 4 door sedans crammed with temporary desert
aficionados whose traits include failing to yield at yield signs, stopping to read maps at yield signs and parking in the middle of a highway and pointing cameras where there's an impressive flower display. but they spend money and that makes it ok with me.....
