THE TWISTER
Something I recorded on one of those cute little 4-track cassette decks two or three years ago.

I'm plenty impressed. I especially like the warmth of the vocals (particularly toward the end) in a slight fight with the sharp guitar. Hat's off to you 'lad.

Nice. Think the descending chord progression hook is maybe too close to that Stone Temple Pilots song? I tried to find it on itunes, but the snippet on there doesn't include the hook I'm talking about. I think it's called Plush. I'm guessing you don't want to remind people of Scott Weiland or worse have people think you've copped STP style. Just thought I'd point it out : )

I actually liked a lot of STP's music. :) But I wasn't aware of the similarity. You're right, it sounds like Plush at the beginning. But if that dumb-ass Kid Rock can steal old songs even worse, why can't I? :) But the fact that you listened to my song, thought about it, and commented on it, is really the only kind of recompense I will ever get from it. Thank you! :)
