FLORIDA SET TO EXECUTE MARK SCHWAB.

Mr. Schwab’s attorneys have exhausted all appeals and it looks like Mr. Schwab will finally get the needle of death. His attorneys say that Florida’s botched execution of Angel Diaz shows that lethal injection is cruel and unusual punishment. Mr. Diaz took 34 minutes to die after his injection. "He was in terrible pain." His attorney said. Witnesses say he was snoring the whole time.

Let me tell you about Mr. Diaz or "Angel" as his attorneys refer to him,. He was in prison in Puerto Rico for murder. He escaped and came to America where he held up a bar and murdered the bartender. I’m sure neither one of these victims felt any pain. Mr. Diaz is quoted as saying (about his impending execution) "Who gives Governor Bush the right to kill someone? This is a cowardly act." One thing for sure, Mr. Diaz has performed his last cowardly act.

Now, back to our other potential poor victim of Governor Bush’s needle of death, Mr. Schwab. He feels that executing him is cruel and unusual punishment. Mr. Schwab has some expertise in that field. Seventeen years ago, in 1991 he kidnapped, raped and then murdered an eleven-year-old girl. At the time of this crime, he had just been released from prison for the rape of a thirteen-year-old boy. He was released early because of good behavior. I have a problem with releasing criminals early for good behavior. Shouldn’t we do the opposite? Make them stay in longer for bad behavior? That’s the way my parents would have done it.

It always amazes me when these scumbags have protestors outside the prison protesting the elimination of human garbage. How do they sleep at night? How do they look the victim’s friends and family in the eye? I can look you in the eye and say, adios Mr. Schwab.

JAPANESE COMPANY PULLS MONKEY AD

This mobile telephone company ran an ad depicting a monkey running as a political candidate. They pulled the ad when bloggers complained that it was a racial slur against Obama. Hmmmm. No comment.

THE HOPELESSLY STUPID LIVE LONGER

Researchers at Switzerland’s University of Lausanne discovered that during the course of 30 or 40 generations common house flies tended to live longer if they were stupid. Apparently higher neutral activity overtaxes the systems. This explains why the average age in Congress is over 80.

Until next time, DD

We've had 218 post-conviction DNA exonerations so far and 16 were on death row... but hey, shit happens.

that monkey blurb reminds me of the bar owner in georgia that is catching so much shit for his OBAMA 2008 tees with an image of curious george on it:

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is considering legal action against a Georgia tavern owner selling T-shirts depicting presidential candidate Barack Obama as the Curious George monkey character.

In a statement, the Boston publisher, which owns the book rights to Curious George, said today the firm finds the T-shirt “offensive and utterly out of keeping with the values Curious George represents.”

...silly fucking me- completely forgot about curious george's values...didnt you?

So Houghton Mifflin Harcourt doesn't have the right to protect their brand from some idiot who doesn't have the balls to just say what he means... "don't vote for a stupid nigger?" Why don't you guys just say what you think? Ashamed?

I'm just curious (not George) why Obama's campaign staff would relate the Japanese ad depicting a monkey running for office to their candidate?

I used to live in Georgia, Dan's t-shirt slogan would not surprise me there.

Dan, I agree with you on post DNA convictions. But now that they have the technology, we use it and we fry em'. If we make a mistake or two we still save millions in prison care and a lot of future would be victims. A few human lives mistakenly taken are a small price to pay for that lovely feeling of revenge when you pull the switch. But I digress.

no dan...first off my dear southern mother forbade us from that term and its stuck with me to this day. i myself am in the imprinted sportswear industry and copyright infringement is a big no-no. as stupid as the bar owner sounds - anyone who prints aa coprighted logo is liable- NOT THE GUY WHO PLACED THE ORDER OR CAME UP WITH THE IDEA. how do i know this...can you say the word SUPERBOWL? this harcourt dude is barking up the wrong tree here. and what i was getting at was CURIOUS GEORGE IS JUST A FUCKING CARTOON IMAGE!!! and a lame one at that. my point here is not the depiction of a monkey looking like a politician (look back thru history and you will undoubtedly find every goddamned president depicted as some stupid species) but this whole PC thing in general. we cant poke fun at people anymore without getting sued or our business threatened??? it wouldnt have been at all funny if it said DONT VOTE FOR A STUPID NIGGER. but you know what? it didnt say that. i would laugh if they had a latino female candidate depicted as dora the explorer. doesnt make me racist...make fun of me for being a godammned irish/cherokee/hungarian pig. that would make a great animal. who gives a shit? big deal. lighten up.

Speaking of shit, that may be another reason those Swiss flies and our congress are living so long...

I'm tired of the wink wink, nudge nudge... Curious George is a MONKEY. You want to go back in time? How 'bout 1968? There's PC and there's just obvious racism disguised as yuck yuck... bring it up at the next Bob Barr for dogcatcher meeting will ya?

But yeah, I'll lighten up, hip hurts today.
